GSMC Baseball Podcast Episode 209: Canada Says No to MLB, Spring Training 2.0 Games, A Look Back

Kevin breaks down the decision by the Canadian government to not allow the Blue Jays or MLB to conduct operations in Toronto. Canada has been exceptional at containing the virus and feels allowing travel in and out of the county will jeopardize this success.<br /><br />Kevin talks about the first spring training 2.0 games that took place over the weekend. There were 3 games on Saturday and 4 more on Sunday. So far the weekend has been a positive experience and should give hope for the 2020 season.<br /><br />Kevin wraps up the episode by looking at the history of the dates July 23 and 24. A ton of history has gone down on these dates, such as the Mark Buehrle Perfect Game and the George Brett "Pine Tar Incident".
