Kevin starts the episode by remembering September 11, 2001. He discusses where he was for the events that took place and how baseball helped America return to a bit of normalcy following the horrible events that took place. Kevin then discusses the record 9th no-Hitter thrown in 2021. It was a combined no-no thrown by the Brewers Corbin Burnes and Josh Hader. This no-hitter was historical in more ways than one, and Kevin breaks down all of the stats and figures that attributed to this historical outing. Kevin wraps up the show talking about Max Scherzer joining the exclusive 3,000 strikeout fraternity. Max is the 19th member of this club, which has fewer members than the 300 hit club, the 500 HR club, and the Perfect Game club. Max continues to make a push for the NL Cy Young award here in the month of September.
