GSMC Baseball Podcast Episode 604: Wild Card Recap, LDS Preview

Kevin starts the episode recapping both Wild Card games. The Red Sox beat up on Gerrit Cole and the Yankees to advance and face the Rays. The Yankees have now headed into an offseason with plenty of questions and drama ahead. The Dodgers beat the Cardinals on a walk-off home run in a pitchers duel. The Cardinals had their chances but going 0-11 with RISP ultimately doomed them. Kevin then talks about the LDS matchups. The Astros won game 1 against the White Sox, with their offense leading the way. The Astros have owned Lance Lynn and this trend continued on Thursday. The Red Sox are trailing the Rays in game one action as well. Kevin wraps up the show with the news that Padres manager Jayce Tingler has been shown the door. Bruce Bochy and Buck Showalter are the betting favorites to replace him for next year. The Phillies also made changes to their coaching staff heading into the 2022 season.
