GSMC Baseball Podcast Episode 637: Two Different Baseballs?!?

Kevin starts the episode by discussing the recent report that MLB used two different styles of baseball this past season. The pandemic led to shortages with the "new" baseball, which then made MLB use "juiced" balls from previous inventory. The problem with this is that no one knew this was happening or which balls were used in which games. The integrity of the sport is certainly even more in question. Kevin then gives an update on the managerial searches for both the A's and Met's. There are some candidates who are interviewing for both opportunities but it looks like Buck Showalter is the lead candidate for the Mets and the A's are looking to stay internally. Kevin also talks about the MiLB rule 5 draft that took place. Kevin wraps up the show by talking about the top remaining free agents available and where they could possibly sign when the labor dispute comes to a close.
