Kevin starts the episode by discussing Shohei Ohtani being named AP Male Athlete of the Year. Ohtani makes history once again by becoming the first male winner from Japan. Kevin then talks about the surprising news of Kyle Seager's retirement. Seager put together a very solid career with the Mariners and is only 34 years old. Kevin next gives his Way-To-Early Predictions for the 2022 season. Kevin predicts the White Sox, Rays, and Astros will be the division winners in the American League, while in the National League the Dodgers, Braves, and Brewers will be division champions. All of this builds to a World Series between the Astros and Dodgers. Kevin wraps up the show by giving his award winners for the 2022 season. The favorite in the American League is Ohtani but Kevin believes a darkhorse candidate is Wander Franco. In the National League, it is time for Juan Soto to win his award.
