After that Paddy takes a look at two of the most important people to the MLBPA and Free Agency. First Patrick talks to the first executive director of the MLPA Marvin Miller. Under MIller the MLBPA grew to become one of the most powerful unions in the United States, and he was able to help create Free Agency. Paddy also talks about Jim "Catfish" Hunter, who was the first "big-money free agent", and is the only person to have their number retired by the Athletic's since the 1920s.
