In arguably the most shocking event to come out of these slow-moving CBA negotiations, the Major League Baseball Players Association has agreed to rid itself of the over-shift that has impeded hitters for years. This move is incredibly shocking as both sides have already agreed to incredible changes already. The National League, for example, will add the designated hitter to is list of positions. Patrick breaks down this and what else has been happening in the sport. Following the CBA talk, Patrick then breaks down dome potential post-lockout trades that could really shake up the power structure in MLB.
