On this episode of the GSMC Technology Podcast host Tom Dougherty discusses issues with Facebook's earnings report, the stock price drop, also talks Samsung and Coinbase. The Facebook earnings report was below the projected mark and the stock price responded in a drastic way, badly. WhatsApp, the messaging service for which Facebook is the parent is used in different ways around the world. In India it is used as a news service, with many people forwarding news stories with in group messages in the app. False stories have lead to nasty stuff and Tom touches on it gently.
