In Guard Your Heart Part 5: For Ministry, Pastor Rafy Panlilio shared the value of ministry as both a privilege and a sacred responsibility. Drawing from Proverbs 4:23, Deuteronomy 10:12, and other key scriptures, he highlighted the importance of keeping our hearts fully committed to God. 1. Guard Against Losing Heart: Pastor Rafy explained that discouragement can weaken our commitment. Ministry, however, is a gift from God, and serving Him brings lasting value and joy. We’re called to hold on to this privilege with gratitude. 2. Guard Against a Deceived Heart: Pastor Rafy also reminded the congregation of the dangers of putting other pursuits above God. When our hearts are fully centered on Him, we serve out of love, not obligation, and keep Him as our top priority.
