Guardian Day 2026: Supporting Local First Responders

The fifth annual Guardian Day fundraiser returns this Saturday to provide financial support to local first responders facing non-duty medical hardships. Founded after a local employee fell ill, the charity fills a critical gap by covering medical and travel expenses when emergency workers face serious personal health battles. Attendees can enjoy a packed schedule featuring a free morning car show, a full slate of live country music headlined by Mark Chesnutt, and high-value auctions including a '66 Mustang. With over $50,000 already distributed to area families this year, community members can buy advance tickets online for $10 to support these local heroes.
