Guardians Add Power & Pitching | Cleveland Guardians News

The Guardians just pulled off a big trade deadline splash, adding power-hitting Jo Adell and solid starter Foster Griffin. Adell, already crushing homers with 16 this season and 62 RBIs, brings serious right-handed pop — and he’s locked in for next year too. But fantasy players should watch his struggles against righties (just .214/.308/.357), which could lead to platooning if he continues to struggle. On the mound, Griffin brings elite strikeout stuff (116 Ks) and command, filling a void in Cleveland’s young rotation — likely pushing Slade Cecconi to the bullpen. The Nationals made the smart move trading him before free agency, but Cleveland’s got a major upgrade. Listen in comfort:Get a discount on a Soli Pillow: http://solipillow.com/discount/dnn.
