Guardians Battle On After Injury Blow | Cleveland Guardians News

The Guardians took a brutal hit on June 13th when Jose Ramirez, Angel Martinez, and Chase DeLauter all suffered broken bones in one game against Detroit—just as they held a half-game division lead. Since then, they’ve stumbled to a 9-13 record, letting other teams surge into a four-team race. Manager Stephen Vogt admits they haven’t played their best, but resilience has shone through: DeLauter’s strong return, clutch performances from backups, and a refusal to fold. With no firm return dates for Ramirez and Martinez (possibly late July/early August), the Guardians keep grinding, manufacturing runs and staying competitive despite being out-hit and out-scored. They’re proud of their grit—and ready to fight every day. Listen in comfort:Get a discount on a Soli Pillow: http://solipillow.com/discount/dnn.
