Guardians Call Up Aleman for Wild Card Push | Cleveland Guardians News

Cleveland Guardians make a bullpen move to boost their playoff push, calling up right-hander Franco Aleman from Triple-A after sending down Austin Peterson—whose solid debut was cut short by pitch count. With the team at 72-71 and clinging to both the division race and Wild Card spot, every decision counts. Aleman, who posted a 3.38 ERA in his previous MLB appearances and an eye-popping 1.10 ERA with 49 Ks in 32+ innings at Triple-A, brings much-needed depth as the Guardians tighten the screws in their final push.
