Guardians Call Up Hot Prospect Genao | Cleveland Guardians News

Guardians are set to call up top shortstop prospect Angel Genao this Wednesday, following the Yankees’ promotion of George Lombard Jr. — a sign that playoff pushes are heating up. Signed in 2021 for $1.1M, Genao’s been crushing it at Triple-A Columbus with a .300 average, .875 OPS, 13 homers, and 11 steals. A switch-hitting threat with power and contact skills, he’s exactly what Cleveland needs offensively as they chase the White Sox in the AL Central. Can he deliver like Lombard Jr. did? All eyes are on him. Listen in comfort:Get a discount on a Soli Pillow: http://solipillow.com/discount/dnn.
