Guardians Collapse Again Against Royals | Cleveland Guardians News

The Guardians’ playoff hopes are slipping as they drop another heartbreaker to the Royals, 8-3, falling to 68-68 with a painfully quiet offense and a bullpen that couldn’t hold a lead. Trade deadline additions Jo Adell and Nathaniel Lowe went cold at the plate, leaving Cleveland with little offensive firepower as they head into September with a must-win final game against Kansas City.
