Guardians Dominate, Head Into Break Hot | Cleveland Guardians News

The Guardians just crushed the Marlins 5-2, securing their fourth straight win and ending the first half on a high note—now in contention for first place after a dramatic turnaround from last year. Joey Cantillo bounced back from early trouble to pitch five strong innings, while Brayan Rocchio blasted his eighth homer of the season, a solo shot that gave them a three-run lead. The bullpen locked it down, including a jaw-dropping throw from the shortstop, and closer Cade Smith—headed to the All-Star Game—closed it out despite giving up a homer. With the break here, they’ll recharge before hosting the Pirates to kick off the second half. Listen in comfort:Get a discount on a Soli Pillow: http://solipillow.com/discount/dnn.
