Guardians Draft Heat-Throwing Savion Sims | Cleveland Guardians News

Cleveland Guardians just pulled off a draft steal with 6-foot-8, 100 mph fastball phenom Savion Sims, snagging him in the 7th round — a huge signal they’re willing to invest to land elite talent. Meanwhile, Rintaro Sasaki weighs MLB vs. Japan, CC Sabathia’s son gets drafted by his dad’s old team, and a Tigers catcher finally breaks through after nine years in the minors — proving persistence pays off.
