Guardians Fall Hard to Rays | Cleveland Guardians News

The Guardians took a crushing 11-3 loss to the Rays, undone by a sluggish offense and a fourth-inning collapse that tilted the game out of reach. A diving right fielder’s failed attempt allowed a triple, and a bobbled throw at home plate added another run, sealing the Rays’ lead. Despite a late two-run homer in the ninth, it wasn’t enough. Manager Stephen Vogt stressed the need to keep battling, noting the team’s offensive firepower is still there — even if the last two games have been rough. Starter Joey Cantillo was pulled in the fourth after throwing too many pitches, frustrated he couldn’t limit the damage. The blow was compounded when a reliever exited in the eighth with a left calf strain, heading for further evaluation. The Guardians are now regrouping, determined to bounce back strong in the next game. Listen in comfort:Get a discount on a Soli Pillow: http://solipillow.com/discount/dnn.
