Guardians Fight Back Against Rangers | Cleveland Guardians News

Cleveland’s fading hope for a series win against Texas hinges on Joey Cantillo’s resilience against a familiar foe — the Rangers, who torched him last June. With the Guardians reeling after four losses in five games, Cantillo (6-3, 3.87 ERA) takes the mound against lefty MacKenzie Gore (5-6, 4.05 ERA) in a must-win showdown at Progressive Field. The Guardians’ offense, silent in the first two games, must ignite — or face another sweep. Game time: 1 PM ET. Tune in on CLEGuardians.TV or WTAM 1100 AM.
