Guardians Land Griffin Before Deadline | Cleveland Guardians News

Cleveland just pulled off a blockbuster trade deadline move, landing lefty ace Foster Griffin from Washington in a four-player deal. Griffin’s been electric this season — earning his first All-Star nod with a stellar ERA, low walks, and the ability to dominate deep into games. This fills a critical rotation spot for the Guardians, who also added Craig Yoho and Jo Adell earlier in the day. After stints in Japan, Griffin’s found his stride, striking out batters while keeping runs off the board — exactly what Cleveland needed to bolster their rotation and bullpen. With these moves, the Guardians have made it clear: they’re all-in on making a playoff run. Listen in comfort:Get a discount on a Soli Pillow: http://solipillow.com/discount/dnn.
