Guardians’ Playoff Push at Risk | Cleveland Guardians News

The Guardians are clinging to playoff hopes with just 17 games left, trailing the White Sox by 2.5 games and ahead of Toronto by just one for the final wild card spot—every game feels like a must-win. Pitcher Joey Cantillo’s command woes, especially early in innings, have become a major concern, prompting talks of shifting his role or even using an opener—Daniel Espino is a potential candidate. The team also desperately needs Chase DeLauter healthy and hopes José Ramírez can still drive offense despite hand issues. With their chips all in, the Guardians now need to string together wins to secure a postseason berth. Listen in comfort:Get a discount on a Soli Pillow: http://solipillow.com/discount/dnn.
