Guardians Rally Past Reds in Thriller | Cleveland Guardians News

The Guardians stunned the Reds in Cincinnati with a gritty 6-5 comeback win, fueled by Kyle Manzardo’s first-career grand slam and a clutch squeeze bunt in the eighth. After surrendering a four-run lead, Cleveland rallied to tie it in the fifth and take the lead for good, capped by Cade Smith’s 30th save. The bullpen shined, especially Franco Aleman (5 Ks) and Angel Martínez’s game-ending catch. With the Ohio Cup within reach, Cleveland now needs just one more win in the series — and Gavin Williams is set to pitch tonight.
