Guardians’ Rookie Surge & Power Surge | Cleveland Guardians News

Travis Bazzana’s rookie season is flying high—batting .243 with 9 homers and 18 steals (most in AL for rookies), he’s heating up with a scorching 8-for-20, 6 RBI road trip. Manager Stephen Vogt calls it steady progress, especially his growing confidence at second base. Meanwhile, newly acquired Jo Adell delivers right-handed power, slashing .300 with 2 homers and 14 RBIs in his last 10 games since joining the Guardians. Pitcher Tanner Bibee aims to extend the team’s 7-game win streak against Kansas City—a division foe he dominates—and the Guardians are primed for an electrifying weekend showdown.
