Guardians Shake Up Rotation with Logan Allen | Cleveland Guardians News

The Guardians’ rotation is about to get a surprise twist as weather delays push their doubleheader to Saturday — and if Game Two goes ahead, Logan Allen, a Triple-A standout with elite strikeout numbers, takes the mound. After an entire season of using the same five starters, this move is all about managing workload, not replacing a core. Allen’s recent dominance — nearly 11 strikeouts per nine innings, minimal runs allowed — makes him the perfect short-term solution. But with the rotation locked in for the long haul, he’ll need to impress fast to earn a permanent role. Game One at 10 PM ET, Game Two at 7:10 PM ET.
