Guardians Snap Rangers Streak with Fry's Homer | Cleveland Guardians News

Cleveland Guardians roar back with a 9-4 win over the hot-streaking Rangers, avoiding a sweep thanks to David Fry’s three-run homer and Austin Hedges’ three RBI. The victory, coming without star José Ramírez, keeps them one game behind the White Sox in the division. Joey Cantillo held the Rangers to two runs over five innings, despite a career-high five walks. The Guardians exploded for five runs in the second, with Fry’s blast being the spark that sealed the win. Elias Díaz’s solo homer couldn’t save Texas’ six-game road winning streak.
