Guardians Struggle as Offense Falters | Cleveland Guardians News

The Guardians took another crushing loss, falling 3-0 to Detroit in a game that exposed their offensive woes — just three hits total against a solid pitcher. Despite Parker Messick’s strong outing, the bats failed to deliver, with Chase DeLauter stepping up with two of those hits and extending his on-base streak. The team’s slide continues, now 15-4 in their last 19 games, and they’re a game and a half behind for the final wild card spot. With runners in scoring position consistently going nowhere, it’s time for a big turnaround — especially when they face the Padres at home this weekend.
