Guardians Struggle But Stay Hopeful | Cleveland Guardians News

The Guardians are in a rough patch after dropping a series to the White Sox, with manager Stephen Vogt slamming their overthinking and loss of identity. At 58-61 and tied for third in the AL Central, they’ve lost 13 of 17 games — far from the dominant team that’s won three of the last four division titles. Vogt hopes a Sunday team meeting will reignite their core style, while players like Austin Hedges and Steven Kwan remain optimistic. Hedges says four games back isn’t insurmountable, and Kwan is on fire (.400 in the series, 25 straight games reaching base), believing they’re closer to turning things around than last year — when they rallied to win the division. Kwan insists trust and teamwork will carry them through the final 43 games. Listen in comfort:Get a discount on a Soli Pillow: http://solipillow.com/discount/dnn.
