Guardians vs Royals: Hot Streaks Collide | Kansas City Royals News

The Guardians are rolling back home with a seven-game win streak, capped by a nail-biting 4-3 victory over the Angels — their eighth straight win against them. Travis Bazzana is heating up, batting .370 in his last seven games with two RBIs and a run scored in the latest win. Meanwhile, the Royals are on fire too, winning ten of eleven with a massive 13-2 demolition of the Blue Jays, led by Jac Caglianone’s career-high six RBIs. Both teams are playing elite baseball — Cleveland at 68-66, Kansas City at 60-75 — setting the stage for a thrilling series opener Friday night at Progressive Field. The Guardians won the first meeting in May, but with both squads firing on all cylinders, this one’s anyone’s guess.
