Guerrero Finally Hits One at Home | Toronto Blue Jays News

Vladimir Guerrero Jr. finally cracked a home run at Rogers Centre this season — in the fifth inning off Trevor Rogers — ending a long drought and igniting the sellout crowd, who gave him a curtain call still wearing his home run jacket. The homer, his 289th AB of 2026 and 150th game, came after a string of near-misses, including a ball that hit the wall at 397 feet — possibly robbed by wind. It’s been a tough year for Guerrero, but this moment marked a turning point, reigniting his power and lifting the team as he now focuses on building momentum from here.
