If you've been around church for any length of time, you might know a story from Luke 14 that Jesus tells, but doesn't really apply at face value. There is so much going on in this passage where Jesus reacts strongly to a system and structure built on keeping wealth and privilege fenced off, and invites us to rethink and rebuild our way of connecting with others.
