A recent study from Deloitte – released this past week -- examines the factors causing companies to expand and enhance their supply chains following several years of focus on resilience. The report is titled “Restructuring the Supply Base: Prioritizing a Resilient, Yet Efficient Supply Chain.” And it found that companies are trying to strike a better balance between performance and cost by reevaluating and restructuring their supply base. There is ongoing debate over California’s controversial regulations that will eventually phase out most non-electric forklifts . Why is this such a hot button issue in the Golden State?
