Our guest on this week's episode is Brandon Isner, Americans head of retail research at CBRE, the large commercial real estate firm. While the holidays are now over and most of us have taken down the tree and put the decorations away, a lot of holiday work still needs to be done for retailers. They have to deal with the $135 billion in expected returns this year. Estimates are that 13 percent of all online orders are being returned. That is a lot to process for any company. Isner discusses how the massive amounts of returns are being handled.The Biden Administration took a step closer to its emissions reduction goalsthis week with the release of an interagency “blueprint” to decarbonize the nation’s transportation sector. The plan addresses all passenger and freight travel modes and fuels to reach goals to secure a 100% clean electrical grid by 2035 and achieve net-zero carbon emissions by 2050.  How is the industry reacting to this plan?The supply chain industry is continuously looking  for solutions to move goods faster with less costs.
