Movember is an annual event held every November to raise awareness about men’s health issues, particularly prostate cancer, testicular cancer and mental health, including suicide prevention. The name comes from “mo” (short for mustache) combined with “November,” because participants, often called “Mo Bros,” grow mustaches throughout the month to spark conversations and encourage fundraising. The movement encourages men to prioritize their health, get regular check-ups and talk openly about physical and mental well-being. Over the years, Movember has become a global initiative, raising millions of dollars for research and programs aimed at improving men’s health.
