Guest Speaker Ep. 5: Washy
from Turntable Teachers Hosted by Turntable Teachers
On Episode 5 of Night School, Mike sits down with Boston Rapper/Singer Washy, and his good friend Kolbe for the second edition of Guest Speaker. A clip of Washy's hit track "Mission Impossible" kicks off this episode, as well as the debut of the official Turntable Teachers Intro produced by Marcel Stephon! Washy and Kolbe join class and bring plenty of music insight, laughs, and real honest conversation to the table. Topics include their journey moving from Niagara Falls to Boston, Washy's latest show at Icon Nightclub, the inspiration behind the song "Mission Impossible", the Travis Scott documentary, the "10/90" mindset, how your failures can grow to successes, Kolbe's devious master plan to take over The Turntable Teachers podcast, and so much more. Shoutout to Washy and Kolbe for an unforgettably enjoyable conversation. All love!
