군당국은 2015년 저고도 방공망의 주역인 천마 미사일의 성능개량을 한다고 발표를 했고, 성능개량 품목은 미사일 핵심부품인 진공관식 소자를 질화갈륨 소자로 교체를 한다고 구체적으로 발표를 했는데, 언론 보도를 보면 아직도 교체가 안되고 해당업체에 천문학적인 정비비용을 지출했고 이번에 또 그 업체에게 비용을 지불했는데 문제는 아직도 진공관식 소자로 천마가 운용 중이라고 합니다.
