每一位皈依佛教的人，一定有機會看到佛教的反面事。這是平常、正常的事，不需要為人間的必然而大驚小怪。這是人間，是凡夫的世間，不是聖人的世間，人間有欲望、黑暗的一面是很正常。佛弟子要抱持「近善遠惡」的態度，面對皈依以後的道路。 皈依是 世尊與我們的事，我們皈依佛教不是為了這些負面表現的人而皈依。 世尊沒騙我們、沒害我們，這就夠了。或許，我們要告訴自己：因為人間有光明與黑暗，所以我們才需要好好的修行，幫助現實的人間，正是因為有黑暗，所以我們要努力！
