Guilt and What to Do With It - Matthew Cain

The apostle John wrote that it is possible to know that we possess eternal life. Listen to it: “The blood of Jesus Christ, God’s Son, cleanses us from all sin.”  Yes, religious activity cannot cleanse a sinful heart or make us acceptable to God. We may speak about God, attend meetings, say prayers, and perform good deeds while still following the pathway of our own choosing. Examine your heart honestly. Only Christ can put away our sin and guilt for good. Are you depending completely upon Christ?
