It really comes down to definitions. If socialization is dumping a bunch of kids together in fake environments with no parents around, almost like Lord of the Flies, then yeah, hard pass. That’s not socialization, that’s exposure - and sending your kids into those situations is irresponsible. Homeschooling is about intentional socialization, doing intelligent stuff, with safe children, the kinds you’d want your kids to be more like, with the parents around.
