Last week Kiran took us on a deep dive through adjusting the truss rod, this is the device in the the guitar neck that allows us to set the relief, or curvature of the next, allowing enough space for the strings to vibrate above the frets. Step 2, and this weeks topic, is the guitar’s bridge. This is where the strings pass over the saddles and are then stretched across to the nut. How do we set the saddle height correctly, what can we do to adjust them and what types of bridge are there and how are they adjusted?
