Gumbs Finds Family at Syracuse

Judah Gumbs, a towering three-star offensive tackle from Florida, left his official visit to Syracuse buzzing with excitement—calling the campus and facilities “amazing” and revealing how the program’s family-first culture, led by Coach Fran Brown, completely shifted his perspective. Spending quality time with coaches Juan Castillo and Jeff Ambrosie, including a city tour from Ambrosie, Gumbs was impressed by the community vibe and player development focus. Though still weighing offers from Kansas, Arkansas, and Tulane, this visit has clearly elevated Syracuse in his decision-making process.
