Gunsight Bridge Replacement Slated for September

The bridge that connects the Slate River Road to Gunsight Road and the Lower Loop will be replaced this September. The Crested Butte Land Trust will perform restoration work to reduce some of the backwater habitat that has been caused by the placement of trusses in the river. The bridge will be a full-span bridge. The total project cost is an estimated $400,000.
