Som formand for Frivilligcenter Roskilde står Guri i spidsen for en organisation, der fungerer som "foreningernes forening". Guri spiller også en væsentlig rolle i Røde Kors Roskilde, hvor hun sidder i bestyrelsen som sekretær.
