Guttersnipe 1

Michael Wayne Davis wrote the song lyrics and I wrote the music to his words. He remarked that the music was a departure from what he wanted but he didn't come up with anything to replace it. Mike sang lead, I played electric guitar, Ralph Warchol was on electric bass. Ralph and I sang backup vocals. This was recorded on December 13, 1981 in a house that Mike rented in Oak Park, Illinois. Here's where you can hear different versions of this song: https://on.soundcloud.com/3ruvn https://on.soundcloud.com/ne35J https://on.soundcloud.com/Qyrb5uFRtqynsTB26. A version of this tune eventually ended up in my CD "Mostly Acoustic" available here: https://on.soundcloud.com/UssrPNYRW7yURbou5.
