Kevin started his career as an Electronics Engineer (Radar) in the Royal Air Force. Like many Radar engineers from the military, when he left the RAF Kevin transferred his Radar experience to the field of Radiology equipment. Radiotherapy Linear accelerators (LINACs) use microwave technology similar to radar to accelerate electrons and produce high-energy x-rays for Radiotherapy. Kevin Mace’s career has led him to be Vice President - Global Installations for Varian, a company employing over 11,000 people worldwide.
