Guy Peterson - Dakar based Photojournalist

In this weeks episode,  Steve and Nick's guest is Guy Peterson, a photojournalist based in Dakar. Guy shares his journey from university to becoming a freelance photojournalist, highlighting the importance of networking and pitching stories to publications. He also discusses the training he has received for working in hostile environments and the challenges of balancing access and safety. Guy also shares his views on artificial intelligence in photography, the importance of context in photography, as well as sharing some of his stories photographing in West Africa. Steve and Nick discuss readers questions on getting fed at weddings and how to push yourself out of your comfort zone as a photographer. They also discuss new lens releases from Sigma, and Guy shares his preference for Fujifilm cameras and lenses.
