GW Celebrates 20 Years of Stephen Joel Trachtenberg Scholarship Program

GW President Steven Knapp awarded nine academically talented D.C. high school seniors with full, four-year scholarships to attend The George Washington University. Students from five District high schools were presented with the scholarship awards at an assembly today at Duke Ellington School of the Arts. The GW Stephen Joel Trachtenberg Scholarship program, now in its 20th year, has provided more than 100 students with scholarships that cover tuition, room, board, books and fees.
