H. H. Holmes: America’s 1st serial killer. Hotel turned torture castle?

This is H. H. Holmes. Pharmacist and, America's 1st serial killer. What always frightens me is serial killers with extensive medical backgrounds, whether they work in a morgue, or are family doctors or nurses. It just makes it so much more chilling. H. H. Holmes is one of America's most notorious serial killers, along with Ted Bundy, Jeffery Dahmer and Harold Shipman. He bought a vacant lot in the 1800s and turned it into a 3-story hotel with a basement.
