Transcript: Charlie James: And welcome to the program on your Wednesday afternoon. Glad to have you along with us as always. Busy, busy day planned. Coming up at 3:35 this afternoon, we'll be talking with Congresswoman Sheri Biggs, as she's got a big event coming up in Anderson. We'll tell you all about that. And at 4:06, I'll be talking with Representative Ralph Norman about his bid to be the next Senator of South Carolina. But let's go to Patrick Henry 2.0 in Gray Court. How you doing, Patrick? Patrick: Doing good, Charlie. How you doing? Charlie James: I'm great, man. What's up? Patrick: Hey, I got three things. First of all, I had to turn that debate off last night. I almost fell asleep, man. It was—it was crazy how uninteresting it was. Charlie James: Yeah. Were you that bored? Patrick: Oh, Ralph Norman was the only one worth listening to. Charlie James: Yeah, okay. Patrick: Yeah, that's about it. But, second thing is, Russell Fry looks like Kevin James. I can't get Kevin James out of my mind when I look at him. I mean, come on, am I voting for Kevin James or Russell Fry? Last thing is— Patrick: Oh, man, I forgot. I'm so sorry. I'll have to call back later. Charlie James: It happens, it happens. I appreciate it, Patrick, thank you so much. Yeah, that debate last night... It always interests me. That's, you know, when you start—when you see people start going negative, not only in debates, but also in their ads, I really wonder, I say, "Wait a minute. Do you not have enough to go on? Do you not have enough, you know, about your legacy, about your legislation? Do you not have enough to go on that you can just run on your own merits? You have to go out there and—well, there you go." Apparently not. So, yeah, I again, this is one of those debates, everybody is pretty close to each other in what they're saying in these debates. Now, that was of course, you know, Darlene Graham was not there last night, but, well, there you go. So, early voting has started today. Now, the early voting hours are different than the actual election hours. They started at 8:30 in the morning, and they go to 5:00 in the afternoon. So today, until 5:00, you've got a little under two hours to early vote. Tomorrow, 8:30 to 5:30. And then Friday, 8:30 to 5:30 to get out there and vote early vote in this Senate primary. So, I mean, we're going to see what happens. We know, I mean, statistically, it's going to a runoff. There's just, you know, very little way around that. So we're going to be doing this again, you know, on the 25th is going to be the runoff for this thing. So, we do have some good news. I was coming into work today, and gas prices were down 20 cents per gallon. We are expecting that maybe there could possibly be an Iran agreement sometime today. [Gasping sound] That's me holding my breath. Yeah, that was me holding my breath right there. We'll wait and see what happens with that. Because if history tells us anything, no matter what agreement these Iranians put up, they're going to break it. And they're going to break it extremely quickly. So, fingers crossed. Ah! Patrick has thought of number three, ladies and gentlemen. Patrick, what's number three, pal? Patrick: I got it. I got number three. Hey man, I just got done early voting. Charlie James: Yeah. Patrick: And I don't know if this is something for the election commission or what not, but it's a pet peeve that I keep forgetting to bring up, but somebody needs to look into it. Why is it that when we go in and vote, that the names are in—they're not in any kind of order, it's just from top to bottom, and I feel like it's got an edge for someone who's at the top of the name list, if that makes sense. Charlie James: I believe—I believe I heard that they put them in the order of when they actually filed. Patrick: Oh! Charlie James: I believe—I believe that's—that's the way they do it. Patrick: Oh, okay. Charlie James: So sometimes—sometimes you look and think, "Well ...
