Um, well… Capitol Hill was a very interesting place to be today as one Dr. Fauci took the stand. Now, I want to—let’s just go back a couple of years and remember when Dr. Fauci said this: Dr. Anthony Fauci (Archive Clip): You're really attacking not only Dr. Anthony Fauci, you are attacking science. Science and the truth are being attacked. Charlie James: Because Dr. Fauci is the science. "Now if you're attacking me, you're attacking science, because I'm the—I am the science. You don't understand, I am the science!" Well, today, because we all remember that they told us not to question the science—today, science took the Fifth 121 times. Dr. Anthony Fauci (Capitol Hill Clip): Under the advice of my attorneys, I will invoke my right under the Fifth Amendment to the Constitution to refrain from answering your questions. Charlie James: Okay, 121 times. Now listen, Fauci's—boy, he never shut up during COVID. You couldn't get the guy to be quiet! But after all of this stuff came out with his diaries about—and we're going to be talking about the whole mask thing today as well, because that was all—everything, everything about COVID... I mean, it started out—you remember how it started out, where the mainstream media was telling us, "Oh, you got nothing to worry about. What you really need to worry about is the seasonal flu and, and blah, blah, blah, blah, blah." And then all of a sudden, I believe when the Democrats realized that they could make hay here, then all of a sudden it was a pandemic. He lied about the mortality of this virus, claimed that it was in some cases 10 times higher than it actually was, lied about not being responsible for shutdowns—he contacted Bill de Blasio and the governor of California at the time, I think was that Newsom still?—but anyway, he was like, "Hey, listen..." You know, he was proud that he got the schools shut down. Just remember, just go back and think about everything that we went through during COVID. Your restaurants were shut down, bars were shut down, schools were shut down, mom-and-pop stores were shut down. That was—all of that was Fauci. Six-foot social distancing: not a single scientific, actual scientific study was ever done that determined that six feet was the appropriate amount of space to be between two human beings. Where that came from—literally not making this up—was a high school science project, and that was taken under consideration by the Bush administration. Yeah, it was a science project. Then you had the magic plexiglass between you and the person at the store, and that had been... I'm telling you, I don't get it. They forced so much on this country, and now he doesn't want to talk about it, because he thinks he might go to jail. And he might! He absolutely might! Coming up in just a couple of minutes, I'm going to tell you how Fauci invoking the Fifth Amendment might have actually revoked his pardon. How about that? That, yep, could actually happen. Now, do I believe that Fauci is going to go to jail? No. Do I believe that Fauci is going to be found in contempt of Congress? No, I do not. Why? Because as Stacey Washington just told you, that takes—what do you got to do to get that? Well, you got to do away with the filibuster, and that's not going to happen, right? So, well, one person that did want to talk at today's hearing was Fauci's lawyer. Listen to this: Committee Chair (Capitol Hill Clip): ...at these proceedings. You were told not to sit at the table, you insist on sitting at the table, and we told you you would not be recognized. You are not invited here for testimony, sir. You are being disruptive. Would you behave this way in a courtroom? No, because the judge would put you in jail. I can't do that today, but I can have you escorted from the premises.
