Let's go to the phones and talk to Gerald from Cowpens. How you doing, Gerald? Gerald: All right. Hey, Charlie, I was watching the World Cup. Charlie James: Yep. Gerald: And I saw how dirty Argentina was playing. I thought Kirby Smart might have been coaching them jokers. Charlie James: You never know, he might have been an assistant coach! I appreciate it, Gerald. Um, so yeah, World Cup yesterday, Spain beat Argentina. I was really pulling for Argentina, I just wanted to see Lionel Messi do really well in that game. He hardly got any touches on the ball whatsoever. But, had to watch part of it on tape because I had something to do yesterday afternoon. Pardon me, my allergies are acting up today. John, I've got something you don't have. I've got something that was given to me yesterday that you do not have. I have in my hands a Boy Scouts communication and public speaking merit badge! How about that? Yes, yes, yes! I had the great privilege yesterday of speaking to Troop 420. My buddy Anthony invited me to come speak to them for their project to get the communication and public speaking merit badge. Well, they had to talk to somebody from the media, and that was me. Let me tell you something, great group of young men. Great, great group of young men. I love talking to young guys like that, organizations like that. Love, love that because these are good, good kids. They were attentive, they were well-mannered. Oh my goodness, it was just absolutely amazing being around good kids like that. And all the scout leaders as well, they were absolutely fantastic. So, good luck on your Eagle Scout! You guys are all going for Eagle Scout, so good luck on that. I know you're going to do it over there in 420. Represent! So, I was talking with them a lot about—a little bit about the media. Public speaking and the media. And there was something that happened over the past few days with the media that should be extremely concerning to everybody. President Trump gave a speech the other night about actual election interference. Actual interference in our election by people like China. And the networks did not carry it. I want you to listen to Mark Wayne Mullin. Mark Wayne Mullin [Audio Clip]: First, let's talk about the major networks not willing to carry the President of the United States' address to the nation on election security. How shameful is that? I think it was ABC, NBC, and I don't know if CBS—did CBS carry it? Anybody? CBS carried it. So ABC and NBC not carrying that? Why? What are they trying to cover up? Why wouldn't they want to inform the American people? Why are they calling themselves a news outlet if they're not actually trying to put the news out there? We wasn't giving spin on the election. The President wasn't trying to re-litigate what happened in 2020, although he definitely could at this point. The President was giving facts! What we have exposed, what the Biden administration covered up, what the intelligence community held from the American people, Congress, and the executive branch. And we're putting it out there, and yet two major networks didn't want to cover it? Charlie James: But then again, don't leave out Fox! Don't leave out Fox. Because that was Thursday night that that speech happened. The next day on Fox, hardly anybody talked about it. Hardly anybody talked about it. Why? Well, because he talked about voting machines.
